Help & Troubleshooting

Quick fixes for delivery issues, plus how to reach us with feedback. Most problems we see are Microsoft / Outlook filtering — not a failed signup.

Outlook & Microsoft 365

Known issue

On some Outlook and Microsoft domain accounts (including many .mil and agency tenants), BLUF can land in Junk or Clutter even after a successful signup. This is a known filtering quirk on those tenants. We’re working on long-term deliverability improvements; for now the reliable fix is an inbox rule.

Create an inbox rule (Outlook on the web)

  1. Open Outlook on the web and go to SettingsMailRules.
  2. Select Add new rule.
  3. Name it something like BLUF to Inbox. Set the condition to From includes newsletter@getbluf.com (or the display name BLUF).
  4. Set the action to Move toInbox (and optionally mark as not junk).
  5. Save the rule. Move any existing BLUF messages from Junk into Inbox once so Outlook learns the sender.

Outlook desktop (Windows / Mac)

  1. Open HomeRulesManage Rules & Alerts (Windows) or ToolsRules (Mac).
  2. Create a rule for messages from newsletter@getbluf.com.
  3. Move them to the Inbox (and stop processing more rules if you prefer).
  4. Right-click a BLUF message in Junk → JunkNot Junk / Never Block Sender.

Still missing?

  • Confirm you subscribed with the same address you check in Outlook.
  • Search your mailbox for newsletter@getbluf.com or “BLUF” — including Junk, Clutter, and Deleted Items.
  • If nothing appears after one weekday morning, write us at the feedback address below and include the address you used to subscribe.
